Local Artist
Over the summer, I have come to know a very talented gentleman, Stephen Aquila, who builds birdhouses. Not just any birdhouses. These are mounted on old wooden handled shovels and pitch forks. The name of his company is ‘Busted Shovel Bird House Co.’ We have a nice selection of houses here at the store with more on approach for the holidays. Maybe you have a sentimental piece of farm equiptment that would make a nice pearch. If so, bring it by the shop and I bet Steve can fix you right up with a great house for your featherd neighbors! He also has put together some great tree ornaments that would make great little gifts!
First of all, I would love to thank all the folks for stopping by to see Lucy here at the flower shop. She truly does love all the pats and treats that are given to her.
With fall in the air, we are keeping a nice assortment of autumn mums and other bright flowers here at the store. Be sure to stop in and pick up a bunch today and when you do, follow the directions on your flower food packets and keep them cool! This will insure long life and a much fresher look. Flowers love to be misted too. Again, if you know somebody who may not know about us or is not on our email list, please pass this newsletter on! Stop by the store and mention this email and receive 10% off your holiday centerpiece. Don’t forget, we can have flowers delivered anywhere in the world!
